Dance in Detention is a Music in Detention project begun in November 2019 and postponed until 2021. It will be presented at Tate Modern as part of Flourishing Lives. It is an exchange between Tinsley House Immigration Removal Unit and Langley Green Hospital and Claremont Centre. It explored themes of isolation and powerlessness through dance as well as creating a dance-off of social dances from a wide range of countries and styles including Bhangra and Capoeira.
Documentation in Tinsley House was only allowed through drawing
